Do I have to pay anything to apply, register or begin working as a webcam model?
Absolutely not! With a reputable management agency, models are never required to pay any fees, either up front or ongoing throughout their career. (In fact beware of management agencies that charge fees up front.)
How much money can I make as a webcam model?
Models may earn $50 - $100 an hour after only a short time online; successful models can earn over $100K a year and it has been known for some to make over $2000 in just one day!
How many hours do I work per week?
You're the boss! One of the benefits of working as a webcam model is that you can set you own schedule and work as many hours as you want, although it's recommended that you work at least 20 hours a week in order to build a solid customer base.
Is experience required?
No - Most top webcam models had no prior experience of modelling before they started.
Are models also employed from outside of the US?
Yes - Models are hired from all over the world, although in most cases they are required to speak English when their online.
Do I have to look like a supermodel to apply?
No - Models vary greatly in age, appearance and body type; although you will need to be attractive, having a great attitude and flirtatious personality are some of the most important traits in a successful model.
Will I have to show my face when performing?
Yes - Customers would not pay to chat with someone that is afraid to show their face.
Will I have to perform nude?
Although some customers may not request nudity, most will at some point. If a customer asks you to do something that you're not comfortable with, you may politely say No; however, webcam modeling is an 'adult position' and you should at least be comfortable being nude in front of the camera.
Can I still make good money if I'm over 30?
Definitely; many successful models are over the age of thirty.
Can we work as a couple?
Yes - In fact there is a large demand for couple's and group webcam shows.
Can I work on more than one network at a time?
Yes - You can work on as many networks as you like, provided that it's not against any sites Terms & Conditions and/or Broadcasting Rules.
Is my identity and personal information protected?
Yes - With a reputable management agency, your personal information will never be used for anything other than your initial approval, set up and earnings payments and never released to anyone, accept when required by law.
Can customers find out where I'm located?
No - With a reputable management agency, all personal information is protected and remains confidential and your IP address is not accessible or identifiable by customers.
Can I block people in certain locations from seeing my show?
Yes - Most management agencies have a function where you can request for certain areas to be blocked during the sign up process.
What equipment do I need to get started?
